Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the effectiveness of self-talk as a strategy on self-confidence and the performance level of hand spring skill on vaulting horse.

The researcher used the experimental approach by using two groups one of them is experimental group and the other is control group with pre and post measurements.

The sample was selected by intentional way of female students in the fourth year of specialization gymnastics, Faculty of Physical Education for Girls, Zagazig University.

The researcher concluded that the self-talk as a strategy has a positive effect on the selfconfidence and the performance level of hand spring skill on vaulting horse.

The researcher recommends that applying the proposed program of self-talk strategy due to the positive and effective contribution in developing the self-confidence and the performance level of hand spring skill on vaulting horse..
