This paper is seeking to highlight the contribution of Tuat's ancient schools in the metrical lesson having Mohammed ben Aubba almozamiri as a case study.

The paper presents a brief introduction of Tuat's ancient schools as well as the methods of teaching therein.

The paper also gives a short biography of Almozamiri and highlights his way of teaching, finishing off with his contributions in the metrical lesson.
