Abstract EN

The current study discusses the synonymy phenomenon in the Holly Quran and replies the following question: is synonymy existent in the Arabic language and Holly Quran? And what is the scientists opinion about its occurrence in the Holly Quran? One of the most important issues is to shed light on the synonymy in the Holly Quran together with explaining the scientists opinion about this phenomenon.

The study also aims at enriching the research in the language lesson.

The study involves three theme the first one of which is the introduction to synonymy in language and term second theme is the scientists opinion in the occurrence of synonymy in the Arabic language.

The third theme is entitled: synonymy in the Holly Quran.

The study also involves results and recommendations most important of which is the difference between the scientists about the occurrence of synonymy in the Arabic language and the Holly Quran.

The study also pay attention to the synonymy phenomenon in the Holly Quran as it is useful in understanding the Holly Quran and Arabic language vocabulary
