Abstract EN

his study aims at investigating the level of orientation towards life among a sample of female teachers and administrators in some Governmental Schools in All Mazzeh, and whether the level of orientation towards life differs according to social status , education level and age.

The sample of the study consists of (260) female teachers and administrators in some governmental schools in Al Mazzeh, their age ranges between (25 -55) years ,and subjected to Life Orientation Scale which developed by Scheier& Carver (1985).

One way Analysis Variance was used for analyzing the data.

The results of this study showed that there were statistical significant differences in orientation towards life due to social status in favor of married, then singles and then divorced.

There were also statistical significant differences due to learning levels in favour of university degree, intermediate institutes, secondary school).This study did not find statistical significant differences according to age.
