The research aims to identify the training needs of the principals of basic education of the first and second cycle in the light of total quality standards in the governorates of Damascus and Quneitra from the principals'point of view,and to know the significance of differences among the research sample to identify the training needs according to the research variables (sex, educational qualification, years of experience).

The researcher depends on the descriptive method.
