Abstract EN

1.

This research aims to reveal the correlation between the classroom climate as perceived by the preparatory stage students and their level of ambition.

It also attempts to find the differences between the average scores of students on the classroom climate questionnaire and the ambition level scale according to the grade variable(seventh grade/ ninth grade).In addition, it aims to point out the differences between the mean scores of students with high level of perception of the classroom climate and those with low level of perception.

The following research instruments were used in the research: 2.

The classroom climate questionnaire as designed by Farser، Tregost and Dennis، 1986.

3.

The level of ambition scale prepared by Amad Abdulsameh Bazha (2004).

The research sample consisted of 357 students.

The most important findings of the research were as follows: 1.

There is a correlation with statistical significance between the students' scores on the classroom climate questionnaire by preparatory students and their scores on the level of ambition scale.

2.

There are differences with statistical significance between the mean scores of students on the classroom climate questionnaire according to the grade variable in favor of the ninth grade students.

3.

There are differences with a statistical significance between the mean scores of students on the level of ambition scale according to the grade variable in favor of the ninth grade class.

4.

There are differences with a statistical significance between the mean scores of students on the level of ambition scale between students with high level of perception of classroom climate and those with low level of perception in favor of students with high level of perception of the classroom climate
