The present study aimed at uncovering the components of the work concept of the university professor and studying the differences according to the social situation and the scientific specialization.

The study followed the descriptive method and after confirming the psychometric indications of the scale for this purpose applied to a simple random sample of (50) , And the study revealed that the concept of multidimensional work, as there were no differences depending on the social situation, while there were differences in some components of the concept of work according to the scientific specialization of professors and the study recommended the need to promote positive concepts in order to establish them as traditions in the work
