Abstract EN

The good trend of the global enrgy market is confirmed by the coming of the third millinium, As a consequence , the Allgerian government is prompted to formulate a long term ambitious programmes , where it launched the five years developmental plans such as the commercial recovery program (2001-2004) with 6.9 billion dollars , then the economical growth supporting project (2005-2009) with 150 billion dollars , and finally the public investment plan (2010-2014) which is estimated at 286 billion dollars .

In this context , these research papers aim to stand on to what extent are the Algerian insurance sector benefited from the money spent on financin g investment projects from 2001 to 2014 especially after the deep structural reforms which touched the sector through law N 06/04 issued on 20th , February 2006 amending and completing law N 09/07 dated on 25th,January 1995 ; therfore , this study aims to clarify the relation ship between the advocated structural reforms in the Algerian insurance market on the light of feeding the five years developmental plan and the scale here is the extent to which the sector’s international competitveness is improved in terms of : the volume of written premiums , density ratio and penetration rate .
