Abstract EN

The right to housing is one of the fundamental social rights on which the social policy of the state is based.

Since independence, the Algerian State has worked to guarantee every citizen a decent housing.

Hence, housing support policy is not overturn despite changing economic orientation but worked to develop several formulas that accommodate different groups and taking into account all levels.

The worker is consider one of the categories which benefit from the different forms of housing and without prejudice to the support measures found in the nature of the social protection benefiting from this category.

This paper will discusses the nature of the support provided by the state to the worker in order to obtain decent housing and its suitability for the social and financial situation of this category.
