Abstract EN

This article addresses the issue of difference in the documentation of various scientific researches related to humanities in various Algerian universities according to The Chicago Manual of Style.

The paper starts with identifying the concept of documentation and its scientific objectives.

Then, it identifies the reasons for this difference in the documentation of various scientific researches according to this style in different universities across Algeria.

Based on the 15th edition The Chicago Manual of Style, and a set of style guides, this paper suggests the appropriate way to cite the different references starting with the holy books, dictionaries, encyclopaedia, books, manuscripts, articles, conference papers, lectures, academic researches, TV shows and interviews.
