Abstract EN

The need to introduce local literary texts abroad, and therefore to acquire new readership, even global ones, inevitably requires a great translation work.

This is because literary texts reflect the culture in which they grew up.

Culture can be a stumbling block to the translation process.

The translator asks literary questions about how to convey the many cultural factors contained in literary texts.

This article attempts to demonstrate the effectiveness of the interpretative theory in overcoming cultural obstacles in the translation act, as it is not an easy work.

It does not work on the word, but works at the level of the message and its meaning.

Where the translation process is the linguistic abstraction of the translated text, after having understood, and then reformulate or rather re-express the same message.

In order to pass these stages, the translator must have a set of tools such as: mastering the language of the source text, understanding its subject as well as mastering the target language.

Moreover, he must follow systematic steps that allow him to understand the author's message in the literary text, leading him to a good translation, by looking for the right equivalents, away from correspondance
