Abstract EN

The translation of Algerian literature in Spain is very recent in comparison to other Arabic literatures.

This assertion can be confirmed taking into account the specificity of the Algerian novel writing in terms of languages of production (French and Arabic) as well as its periods and subjects.

Also the reception of Algerian cultural and religious heritage in other countries of the Mediterranean scene is very limited.

The Observers of Algerian literature in Spain note that its presence and representation is very narrow and limited to French production.

Thus, this article aims to focus on bibliographic data in order to start future studies and researches on the place of Algerian literature in Spanish cultural scene.

The conclusion of this article shows that Algerian literature in Spain is constrained to ideological and publishing industry at the expense of its creative side.
