المشاريع المايكروية و مكافحة البطالة و الفقر بين الشباب في الأردن : دراسة ميدانية

Abstract EN

The main goal of this study is to investigate and analyze Jordanian youths who have established income – generating small projects ( micro in nature ) in Amman area.

Sample consisted of 300 youths from greater Amman area- all owners of micro projects.The type and nature of the projects, and their effects on the lives of youths and their families.

Monthly income, and employment opportunities resulting from these projects were documented.

Sample survey methodology was used, and data were collected by means of a structured questionnaire prepared by the researchers .

The sample consists of 300 male and female youths who established income generating small ( micro) projects in different locations of Amman area, and who are currently operating these projects .

Expected impacts of the findings of this study may include the following : 1) Policy adaptation of microfinance firms and funds ,especially with regard to loans extended to poor youths .

2) Lending more support to income-generating small projects subculture among youths , and other social groups in the society.

The study was financed through a research grant from Scientific Research Fund - Higher Ministry of Education and Scientific Research in Amman.
