Abstract EN

The study aimed to explain the ruling of alimony and housing for a divorced woman , in which the method of inductive and descriptive analysis was followed, the study showed the reality of alimony, housing, the divorced woman, and the provision of alimony and housing for the divorced woman, by presenting the views of the jurists and then favoring the opinion in which the preponderance of evidence agreed with the rules of Sharia and its purposes.

The study has concluded several results, including that if the divorced woman is pregnant, she has the right of alimony and housing, but if she is not pregnant, then she does not deserve an alimony and that the divorced woman has the right of housing because she is obligated to stay in here dead husbands house during the waiting period.

The study advises that the previous sharia law be included as mandatory courses in curriculums and papers participated with in conferences.
