This study aims to identify the Self Regulation and its Relation to the Big Five Factors of Personality Among a Sample Students at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah.

The study included (390) male and female students from scientific and literary disciplines.

The following tools have been in the sample of the study: Self- Regulation Scale Prepared by Brown (Miller and Lawendowrksi 1999) by Arabization Adel al-Minshawi (2013) and Scale of the Five Greatest Factors of Personality (A) and (B).

The study reached the following results: There is a statistically significant relationship between self-organization and the five major factors of personality in the study sample.

There is a high level of self-regulation for the sample of the study.

there are statistically significant differences in the degrees of self- regulation in the dimensions of the sub-attributable to gender in the dimensions of Evaluating the Information and Searching for Options of the male sample of students and in the dimensions of the development go the plan and implementation of the plan and the evaluation of the plan in favor of the sample of female students , While there are no statistically significant differences in the study sample in the five major factors of personality attributed to specialization (scientific-literary), the study made recommendations to prevent holding workshops at the university to teach students about the five major factors of personality and their impact on their behavior and to try to develop the positive factors that they lack.

Focus on training students in self-organizing skills, how to set future goals and plans, and how to follow up and evaluate them.
