Abstract EN
This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-esteem and motivation for achievement, and the differences between the third year secondary students in self-esteem scores and motivation scores for achievement according to sex variable, and the sample of the study consisted of (n = 130) pupils.
The researchers based on the self-esteem scale of Bruce Aher and the motivation measure of achievement by Abdul Razzaq Saleh Al-Ghamdi (2009).
The results of the present study resulted in a statistically significant relationship between self-esteem and motivation for achievement, and no statistically significant gender differences in self-esteem and motivation scores for achievement.
