The phenomenon of delinquent behavior and criminality has been the subject of research from different intellectual and theoretical bases, in terms of concepts and terminology, which seek to understand and interpret the phenomenon and look for ways to reduce it.

In this article, we seek to present a sociological vision of the delinquent and criminal behavior through the social trend and the most important theories that deal with the phenomenon in its sociological dimension.
