Abstract EN

This paper tries to answer some of the language questions relating to the writing spaces of a novel, embodied in Al-Ayam by Taha Hussein, as the writer is constantly trying to fill reality with language fluency and inevitability.

The space in the text has a certain relationship with the reality space, therefore, for every language, there is a Language positioned in a certain space, and any discourse informs about a particular space.

This paper aims to answer the following: What is language? Does it express honestly the real space of the writer? What are the spaces of writing? Does the places in the novel reflect the spaces the writer wanted them to be as such? In addition, is the space of the writer a prison?
