Abstract EN

The study aimed at determining the extent to which researchers use methods of scientific methodology and statistical treatments in educational research.

The study population shall be from all research published in the refereed scientific journals during the period from 2011 to 2015.

The sample of this study consisted of 70 studies published in refereed Arab journals and issued by some educational colleges in some Arab universities or some institutions concerned with education in the Arab world.

The study found that all the studies published in the scientific journals included in the research sample used the quantitative methodology (100%).

All the studies had practical objectives.

Most of the studies have used the descriptive approach of different types and the experimental approach.

Most of the experimental studies used the design of the experimental and control group to test both before and after the two unequal groups (22) of the (25) study (88%).

Most studies have also used alpha-cronbach as the method for calculating the coefficient of stability.

Most studies focused on using the sincerity of the arbitrators when verifying the authenticity of the tool.

The most statistical methods used in data manipulation were t-test, variance analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient, with no regard to the conditions of use of these methods.

The study presented a set of recommendations.
