Abstract EN

This paper aimed to highlight one of the most notable issues in the horn of Africa area exemplified in the border dispute between Djibouti and Eritrea about doumaira mountain and island, and the region has had a paramount importance owing to its geographical location overlooking the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and the paper has addressed the Qatari role in the border dispute resolution, and it's found several results, most notably the arabe gulf countries compete to play role in the region especially after the gulf crisis since 2017, and continuing tension in the area given the colonial legacy which Contributed to the border demarcation which doesn’t commensurate of the ethnic distribution in the region.
