This study’s aim is an analyze of the relationship between the budget deficit and the balance of trade in the Algeria during the period 2000-2016, and relying on econometric and Time series by testing the stationarity of data by applying Dickey-Fuller and use the test Johansson's cointegration and Granger causality test analyze Variance Components In addition to testing the reaction response function.

Show through causality test between balance of trade and budget deficit to that balance of trade affect budget deficit and not vice versa any causal in one direction, and the study found that there are no long-term relationship between balance of trade and budget deficit in Algeria.
