Ibn Jaber al-Andalusi is one of the most famous poets of Andalusia who wrote in the praise of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

He mentioned in his poems the prophet'sphysical and moral qualities, his longing to see him and visiting his grave, as well as the holy places that were associated with the prophet's life.

He also spoke about the prophet's miracles and the different stages of his prophetic life.

Moreover, in his writings Ibn Jaber confessed his sins hoping to win the prophet's blessings and intercession.
