Abstract EN

This research includes an attempt to study the poetry of children in Libya based on one of its pioneers; he is the poet and educator Hassan Al-soussi through his printed divan of infantile poems (Venus and the Sparrow).The usual method of content analysis; to deduce the valuable systems that this poetry carries, and disclose its contribution in building the Libyan infantile personality.

The contents were dealt with by Hassan Al-soussi in the poetry of children were close to the reality of the child, where he shaped them according to their own desires, expressing their feelings, and migrated with them in a journey of various contents, and committed to: the literary, cultural, natural, religious, educational, and social concern; and he made all that run meaningful in their veins, by targeting their poetic preference along the different stages of childhood.
