the informal economy is a major challenge for the Egyptian economy, as Egypt is one of the developing countries, which has always suffered from inflated size of the informal economy .and the reasons behind this growing phenomenon comes back to a combination of factors, and the most important one is the spread of trading by cash payment for commercial transaction ,which means the need to adopt a particular style of policies to reduce the size of this phenomenon by converting from cash payment to bank and electronic payment.
