Abstract EN

The health sector suffers in Jordan from the scarcity of libraries and specialized information centers in health information and medical care.

Generally, most of them do not have libraries, and what is available in some of them lacks a lot both in terms of informaion sources, or in terms of specialized librarians.

Explosion of knowledge, Information technology and communications It is possible help to solve this problem by using the free and non free health databases available on the Internet.

In this research, I deal with the reality of the situation of libraries in Jordanian hospitals, in particular hospitals in one of the governorates of Jordan (Irbid) .

Then I will address the famous medical databases vailable by the Internet, and how to use them without bearing the costs of building separate libraries for this purpose
