Abstract EN

This is an analitical study of a concise book about the Quran's recitational variations authored by a prominent scholar named Abi Zayed Ibn Alqadhi (1082), who introduced a compilation of topics ranging from the Quran's recitational variations to the science of Quranic writing scrip.

He also explained the Issue of Nagl (a certain way of pronouncing the Hamzah [ʔ] at the beginning of the Chapter of Ankaboot (the Spider), according to the Riwayah of Warsh.

Unlike many scholars, he author supported the proposition of writing a Nagl marking on the Hamza [ʔ].

He also meticulously gathered a plethora of other scholars’ opinions and discussions to support this disposition .

In fact, Ibn Algadhi is a prominent and renown scholar in the science of The Quran’s writing script and his book is a great reference for researchers and students of Rasm and Quranic recitation variations .

In my study, I referred to four original manuscripts of Ibn Algadhi’s book.

So, the study ended up in two sections; one about the author and the second about his book.
