This research paper dealt with problem of the relationship between the regular taxation and the real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in Algeria in the period of 1992-2017.
The results of this study in its econometric part showed that there is no long-term balance relationship between regular taxation and GDP, which required the application of the VAR model.
Moreover, the study also revealed that there is no causal relationship heading from regular taxation to real GDP, but there is a one-way causal relationship from real GDP to normal taxation.
