The study aims at assessing the impact of agricultural financing policies on agricultural development in Algeria, by employing yearly data during the period 1990 and 2017.
The study employed Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) to test the relationship among the variables.
The findings of the study dictate there is a long run relationship and a short run relationship between the agricultural domestic product growth as an indicator of agricultural development and agricultural finance.
Additionally, the study found a negative relationship between the agricultural development and the real interest rates in both short and long-run.
