Abstract EN

The virtue of generosity is one of the most important virtues that Allah praises in his Holy Book.

He describes his glorious Qur'an as "Holy " (Kareem) and made it a law among the believers and urged them to spend in all ways and means.

Because spending is hard on the soul, as it is the nature of human to love and collect money, so spending is against that.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to treat this matter in a manner that removes the miserliness and greediness.

The research is divided into a preface, introduction, four sections, a conclusion, and indexes containing the most important references and sources.

I have concluded the research with a number of results.

The most important ones are: 1- The virtue of generosity is one of the most important virtues that Allah praised in the Qur'an, and He is described as generous.

2- This word and its derivatives in the Holy Quran are mentioned forty-seven times.

3- Generosity in the Holy Qur'an has many indications.

4- For those who are honoured, whether they are angels or believers, there is special statue for them bestowed by Allah.

5- There are acts that reach the level of the honoured ones.

6- Generosity has impacts on individual and society.

The conclusion of the research recommends: 1- Incorporating the noble ethics and virtues in the teaching curricula of the schools, especially that of generosity for the generations to be brought up on them.

2- Media has to adopt advocacy programs instilling generosity to social behaviour and highlight the psychological and religious benefits of it.
