Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to try to highlight the problem of the budget deficit in Algeria as well as the proposed solutions.

The theoretical side of the basics about the general budget, the budget deficit and its main reasons and the proposed solutions in theory were discussed in order to identify the reality of the budget deficit in Algeria.

And then compare them by adopting the previous year as a reference and this is based on the figures contained in the financial laws for the years concerned (2014-2018), and the findings of the study that the phenomenon of deficit in the general budget is a complex phenomenon complex, and can not be returned to BP single, but dating back to a complex web of factors and influences that contribute to the occurrence of disability and exacerbations, and the study recommended the need for coordination between the budget policy tools and the rationalization of public spending to reduce the budget deficit
