This present research includes a study of medieval Islamic Andalusian urbanism during the Umayyad rule era, as model within a research problematic centered on the relationship between the nature of Andalusia as a geographical specificity and its inhabitants as a social specificity ,and the impact of this relationship on Islamic Andalusian architecture, in terms of architectural artistic creativity, which constituted an artistic aesthetic with environmental religious and social dimensions .

And at the same time it expressed the power of aesthetic sense of the Umayyad princes in particular and the Andalusian society in general, through the Mosque of Cordoba and the palaces of princes, and the public houses and the gardens
