The Qur'anic text is based on the cohesion and cohesion between its parts.

Our distinguished scholars have been interested in extracting the means, relationships and tools that contribute to achieving this cohesion, and explaining their functions in understanding what is meant.

Semantic, as referral helps in the interpretation of the text, and stand on his purposes.

The research aims to highlight the efforts of Muhammad Taher Ibn Ashour through his interpretation of "liberation and enlightenment" in highlighting the role of referral (conscience and the name of the sign and the name of the conductor) in the coherence of the text and its function in the statement meanings intended.

He stressed that referral in the Koranic text by going beyond the circle of interdependence between the vocabulary to the interrelationship between sentences, structures and verses tightly linguistic and semantic correlation, and each part performs its function assigned to it.
