Scientific research is an attempt to discover, explore and develop knowledge, to examine it and to investigate it thoroughly.

Obtaining it in other ways, it assumes access to new findings, information or relationships to increase or verify knowledge of individuals.

Therefore, we aim through this paper to highlight the conceptual framework of scientific research, its importance, its foundations and its elements, with reference to the characteristics of successful scientific research and the types and methods that rely on, especially in higher education.
