Abstract EN

The aim of this study is defend the right of the Noble Quran with respect to achieving the correct response concerning the major suspicion in denying the punishment of stoning for the married committing adultery as one of the Islamic rules which is that this punishment was not mentioned in the Noble Quran.

In doing so, the study attempted to refute such claims as being incorrect and that those claimers are not sincere when questioning the Noble Quran and Hadith.

They claim that the Noble Quran is not totally correct.

they falsified evidences and the most important is the defense of the Quran text to stoning as claiming that the punishment of lashing as stated in Al Nour Ayat (males and females committing adultery should be lashed on hundred lashes) and that this punishment is general for all committing adultery as the punishment for women in Surat Al Nisa' ( they are to be punished half the punishment on the married ones) refutes the stoning punishment because it cannot be divided into two halves.

There was a need to clarify this false claim and how it reached our days, and this why this deductive study was conducted in tracking it and then using the critical analytical design to identify the intellectual background of which this claim originated in addition to the emerging suspicions of it.

The study concluded with important results including that the punishment of stoning is evident by Suna', the agreement of scholars and the Ayat in Suwar Al Nisa' and Al Nour.

Suna has indicated this punishment by the actions of the Prophet and his companions.

It was also found that Nafe' Bin Al Azraq, one of Al Khawarej, is the origin of this false claim followed by other scholars in the past and present such as Sheik Abu Zahra and Al Qaradawi.

The first indicated that it is measured by Ayat Al Nour while the second claimed that this punishment is left to the opinion of the governor.

The study abided to refute all false claims and to be supporter of the Noble Quran
