This present study aims to recognize the relationship between test anxiety and selfesteem among third year of secondary school students according to the variables (gender, scientific specialization)to achieve the purpose we used the descriptive method, It has been applied at sample consisted of (86)male and female students in establishment of laroussi Elarbi in the city of Tiaret ,has been selected at random cross.It has been applied to two questionnaires after confirming their validity and constancy, the first one measures the test anxiety which prepared by (Hamid.
Zahran:1999) and the second questionnaire measures the self-esteem which is design of (cooper smith).
The study found the following results:- there is an inverse correlation relationship between test anxiety and self-esteem among students of the study sample.
- there are differences in the level of test anxiety depending on the variable of sex and specialization.
- there are no differences in the level of self-esteem depending on the variable of sex and specialization The results obtained were discussed according to the study sample and previously studies.
