Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the reality of democratic life in educational institutions.

In our research, we seek to reveal democratic practices in the school in the light of some variables such as the type of educational institution.

We have relied on the analysis of students' opinions and their impressions on the descriptive approach.

For the purposes of the study we have prepared a measure of democratic handling in the institution.

The sample of the study was 50 students from the first stage of the average educational institutions located in the city of Oran during the period between January and May 2017.

The study found that there is a statistically significant difference in the levels of democratic interaction in educational institutions due to the type of institution and the sex of the teachers.
