Abstract EN

The present study deals with a jurisprudential manuscript that had came as a response of the chiekh Elgantouri about a religious matter linked to the absolution acts “Istibraa” and “Istinjaa” and other purification matters.

The verdict of the Chikh was given in three chapters.

The first addressed the nature of the hygienic act whereas the second chapter explained the objectives underlined by strengthening the duration of the absolution act.

The last chapter discussed the reasons behind those.

The Chikh brought up a number of juridical doctrine texts reported from the Malikit scholars as well as the transitional proofs which assert the view of the Chikh and appease the inquirer.

This would likely avoid obsession, hesitation and illusions which often come to disturb man‟s quietness.

This kind of response is inherent to the chikh’s Gentouri trend as he is one of the pillars of the Maliki path, and a sounded figure in Tigourarin region.

Our paper will shed light on his bibliography and his valuable contributions in advancing jurisprudence and his impact in establishing a basic theological thinking about Islamic affairs.
