Abstract EN

This research paper is devoted to study the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of teachers in the Faculty of Science at the University of Tlemcen (Algeria).

It aimed to elucidate the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment as well as identifying the level of each variable.

It was also devoted to examine the relationship between job satisfaction’s dimensions and the general organizational commitment , and the link of organizational commitment’s dimensions with the general job satisfaction.

Besides, it aimed to investigate whether there exist statistically significant differences in both the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment due to gender variable.

To this end, a sample of 95 teachers was selected from the faculty of science at the University of Tlemcen.

The results of the current study revealed that there is no statistical relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment among teachers in the faculty of science at the University of Tlemcen.
