Abstract EN

This study aimed to detect the relationship between psychological pressures and their coping strategies among mothers of children with autism.

The sample consisted of 41 mothers in the pedagogical centres for children with mental disabilities who were chosen in a deliberate manner during the pedagogical year (2015- 2016), and for data collection the researcher has used the following too tools :The psychological pressure questionnaire -The psychological pressure response strategy questionnaire.

The study reached the following results : - There is a statistically significant relationship between psychological pressure or stress and the coping strategy of mothers of autistic children.

- Mothers of autistic children suffer from high psychological pressure and stress.

- Te most commonly used strategies for coping with psychological pressure or stress among mothers of autistic children are positive strategies.
