Abstract EN

The study discusses the case of a fundamental question within it: the question of education which is related to the scientific institution in the first place, and national identity on the other hand.

The country of Algeria, like other countries, has evolved and known a lot of experiences in the field of scientific movement and its development.

It established and set up several institutions and scientific centres in all the public cities, especially in the west Beylik, which made Algerians live an intellectual harmony, a cultural interconnection.

Moreover, they even integrated the Ottoman regency.

The Beylik of western Algeria experienced during the period 1700-1830 a scientific progress, which was manifested in the emergence of various scientific institutions as: mosques, Coranic schools, schools, libraries and Zaouias.

In addition to centres of guard named Ribbat, which served as centres of scientific and cultural outreach in the region.

It has also contributed significantly to the activation of the scientific and cultural movement path, which led to the creation of a scientific atmosphere and a climate of knowledge that had many positive effects on the members of the Algerian society.

It stood out by the emergence of eminent scientists who served the scientific knowledge in various fields and branches.

In addition, its scientific cities (Hawadher) have become a magnet for students and those interested in knowledge during that period.
