Abstract EN

The study is under the theme of “the Textual Coherence in Osama Mohamed Ali’s Poems”, he’s a Sudanese acclaimed poet.

The purpose of this study is to exploring the textual, interconnected -text (coherence) and consistency techniques on poet’s blog.

The study comprises introduction and three topics as follows: Topic one: a theoretical study on mostly criteria by which the textualism being achieved as to De Bogrand.

The current study is also focusing particularly on coherence and consistency on which the text constructed.

Topic Two: an applied study of coherence on Osama Mohamed Ali’s pomes whereas effectively contributed to interconnected-text by employing different referential types, alteration, continuity, lexical authenticity and “repetition and coherence”.

Topic Three: study of coherence in two poems collections (A Gain of Writing) and (A Street without Sign) to including connectivity, gradual integration of meanings of theme and linguistic embodiment.

Eventually, the study concluded the required recommendations being reached by the study.

Methodology: the analytical descriptive method based on interpreting and analyzing of consistency and harmonized points of the poet’s poem.
