Many modern applied studies had asserted on the strong relationship that connect between the stock market and average of the economic growth.
This research aims to study the causal relationship between stock market and economic growth in Saudi Arabia from 1980 to 2014 using many indicators, ie market capitalization ratio value of shares ratio, turnover rate and test the relationship of this indicators with the economic growth.
The results of study clearly show that there is causal relationship between the stock market and average of the economic growth.
