This paper describes research within a large Algerian industrial undertaking with the view of identifying its culture profiles.
Data were gathered from a sample of managers using the culture measurement tool called OCAI.
The findings show that the case organisation was currently dominated by market and hierarchy cultures.
Clan and Adhocracy cultures have comparatively less consideration.
In the future, respondents hope to see added emphasis put on the hierarchy and clan cultures.
This indicates a misalignment between what the managers thought was needed and what they perceived to exist.

Cet article décrit les résultats d’une recherche dans une entreprise industrielle algérienne visant à déterminer son profile culturel.
La collecte d’information a été réalisée auprès d’un échantillon de managers en utilisant l’instrument d’évaluation OCAI.
Les résultats indiquent la suprématie de deux types de culture: le marché et la hiérarchie.
Les cultures de clan et d’innovation ont obtenu des scores faibles.
Dans l’avenir, les répondants souhaitent voir leur entreprise s’orienter vers une culture de hiérarchie, indiquant ainsi un écart entre ce qu’ils considèrent la culture idéale pour l’entreprise et ce qui leur semble être sa culture actuelle.
