Abstract EN

Al-suyuti has taken his sources from the huge wealth of books and narrations recorded by the scholars, narrators and jurisprudents.

The paper the reviews of Al-Suyuti to the contents of the narration and his criticism of them through transferring the known phrases of critics at the challenge of falsehood and amendment taking into considering some steps which the scholars have taken while criticizing the texts and narrations about whose narration is to accept and whose narration not to accept.

The most important findings of the study are the following: 1-Al-Suyuti's approach is characterized by clarity and honesty through mentioning the sources which he depended on in various branches of knowledge due to his wide acquaintance with interpretation, hadith and jurisprudence.

That helped him to master the use of sources as he put in consideration special criteria in preference and choice.2-Al-Suyuti has referred to the weakness inflicting some of the imputations as he says "this is a very weak hadith that holds no plea"3-He criticized the content by using the known phrases of criticism for the scholars of hadith, which is a well-known criticism based on scientific criterion in analysis of the narration scientifically, the end of is correction and clarification and the points of weakness.

These are steps that enabled Al-Suyuti and the stability of his feet in the domain of narration criticism.

4-Al-Suyuti appears in his book in the collection of true narrations from their sources and the care of the imputations and mentioning the sayings of those before him, in addition to that he showed the narration on more creditable narration.5-Al-Suyuti lived in age in which the encyclopedic pattern in composition, in addition to affiliation to the school of modernists, as shown by his background.
