The Algerian constitutional legislator has tried to introduce amendments to the constitutional revision of 2008 and 2016.
Its objective was to restructure the executive power of the interior, which proves a tendency towards the institutionalization of a presidential regime based on a real monism of the executive power as the French regime.
Despite this, some aspects of the parliamentary system persisted, such as the Prime Minister's political accountability to Parliament.
This responsibility is first established infront of the President of the Republic being infront of the Parliament.

Le législateur constitutionnel algérien a tenté d’introduire des amendements lors de la révision constitutionnelle des années 2008 et 2016.
Son objectif était de restructurer le pouvoir exécutif de l’intérieur, ce qui prouve une tendance vers l’institutionnalisation d’un régime présidentiel fondé sur un réel monisme du pouvoir exécutif comme le régime français.
Malgré cela, quelques aspects du régime parlementaire ont persisté, telle que la responsabilité politique du premier ministre devant le parlement.
Cette responsabilité est d’abord établie devant le président de la République avant qu’elle ne le soit devant le parlement
