This paper tends to shed light on a prominent phenomenon, that is the abundance of religious texts in the poems of Mahmoud Darwish who is often inspired by Quran, and by The Bible, in particular.We prefer to focus on the collection “(why Do You Leave The Horse Alone ?),using the intertextual approach to trace the presence of religious texts in his poems.

Cet article porte sur un phénomène répandu dans le recueil «Pourquoi avez-vous laissé le cheval tout seul?» du poète palestinien «Mahmoud Darwich».
Il s’agit de l’emploi fréquent des textes religieux tels que la Torah, L’Evangile et La Bible.
Mais, le texte de l’Evangile reste le plus important.
J’ai gardé le terme Evangile vu l’utilisation par l’auteur du terme arabe équivalent: الإنجیل au lieu de المقدس الكتاب ) .
Notre étude montre les manifestations de ces textes dans les divers poèmes du recueil, en adoptant l’approche intertextuelle.
