This article focuses on the emergence of the Jewish mystical figure Ephraïm Aln' Koua in the poetic story Moi, ton enfant, Ephraïm of Mohammed Souheïl DIB.
We wonder about the putting into discourse of this proper name, in other words, on image (s) which it tends to suggest in the story by registering us as a part of the theory of the signifiance supported by Paul Siblot.
This last considers the proper name as a sign rich in discursive meaning.
The present study is based on the description and analysis of semantic functioning of this proper name in aforementioned story.

Cet article porte sur l’émergence de la figure mystique juive Ephraïm Aln’Koua dans le récit poétique «Moi, ton enfant, Ephraïm» de Mohammed Souheïl DIB.
Nous nous interrogeons sur la mise en discours de ce nom propre, autrement dit, sur le(s) image(s) qu’il tend à suggérer dans le récit en nous inscrivant dans le cadre de la théorie de la signifiance soutenue par Paul Siblot.
Ce dernier voit dans le nom propre un signe riche de sens discursif.
La présente étude se base sur la description et l’analyse des fonctionnements sémantiques de ce nom propre dans ledit récit.
