Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the Success and Failure Expectations of university Students, and to identify The differences in the success and failure expectations according to gender variable (male\female) and specification variable (scientific, humanities),in order to achieve this the researcher adopted a Scale of the Success and Failure Expectations of (Fibel & Hale,1978) after she translated it into Arabic, the Scale was applied to a sample of 400 Students who were selected in random stratified method , the validity and stability of the Scale were verified and the researcher collected and processed the data statistically , the results showed that the members of the research sample had the Success and Failure Expectations, there are also differences in the success and failure expectations according to specification variables (scientific \ humanities) in favor of the humanities specification.

There are no statistically significant differences in the success and failure expectations according to gender variables.
