Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the reality of deaf and hearingimpaired education in terms of teachers who teach deaf people in institutes and programs of integration, the role of the teacher of deaf and hearing impaired, the teacher of general education, , to reach the proposed vision in the preparation of deaf and hard of hearing teachers in the institutes and programs of integration.

the study was applied to a simple random sample consisting of (37) supervisor deaf and hard of hearing in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the academic year 1439/1440 ah, the study was followed descriptive approach to the nature of the study and its objectives.

the study revealed a set of results on the best teacher in deaf education in the deaf and hearing-impaired track from the point of view of the study sample is the teacher in the deaf and hard of hearing track.

the best teacher in deaf education in the course of general education teacher is general education teacher diploma of hearing impairment in a medium degree, and that the best teacher in the teaching of the deaf in the path of the sign language interpreter is represented in the "sign language interpreter with a specialization in a highly specific academic subject.

in light of these findings, the study presented a number of recommendations that could contribute to the quality of deaf education, namely, reviewing programs for the development of deaf and hard of hearing teachers by the bodies responsible for teacher education programs in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for higher education by adopting the " in the hope of educating deaf people to develop the reality of deaf education in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
