Abstract EN

The research aims to identify: - 1- Making the moral decision of the university students.

2- self - awareness of university students.

3- the correlation between the adoption of moral decision and awareness of the students of the university 4- The difference in the relationship between the adoption of moral decision and awareness of the university students depending on the variables: gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific – human).

In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher used a measure of moral decision making (Gibbs, 1986) and adopted the criterion (Rodam, 2014) based on the theory (Goleman, 2000), and after the extraction of their characteristics of the psychometric were applied to a sample (400) male and female students of Kirkuk University who had been chosen randomly,and after Data had been analysed by using T.test of two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient and Z.

test, the results were : 1- showed that the university students were within the third stage of the moral development developed by Gypsum in his theory.

2- The students of the university have a sense of self 3- There are Relationship between the taking of the moral and self-awareness among university students 4- There is a difference in the correlation between the adoption of moral decision and self-awareness according to gender (male -anat) and in favor of females and specialization (scientific - human) for the benefit of scientific specialization
